Ok, if the patch-panel crate has the smallest dimension (13.5cm) aligned with the beam-axis and all fibres come from above, with the possibility of disconnecting in case of need, then I think that it’s ok.

Dear Andrea,

Many thanks for you answer.

What are the dimensions of the YE3 box? It shall be foreseen the possibility of disconnecting the OF and remove or flip the box 90 degrees to access the equipment underneath, if necessary.

The dimensions of the box are: 48 cm x 32 cm x 13.5 cm. I'm attaching the technical drawing and a photo of the box.
In principle, the idea is to feed the box vertically (not horizontally, in that sense the first slide from the first email is not accurate). So I think this is answering the question about the 90 degree flip.

Concerning YE1, the position is fine for run 3. It will be likely moved during LS3 but we still don’t have the final layout, thus we recommend to have at least 1m slack in the fibres reaching the patch-panel.

We have more than 2 meters of slack.

Many thanks for your comments.
Best regards, Andrés.
